We've all experienced that sense of speed and ease that comes from an unexpected tailwind -- and that slog when we've turned around and are heading home against that rising headwind. Likewise, every cyclist has suffered that unexpected downpour or plunging temperature. The AccuWeather widget on your Garmin can give you a forecast, but when you are riding you want wind and rain data easily accessible. It's surprisingly difficult to tell when you're in motion what the net effect of the wind is. Rain & Wind takes out the guesswork: it shows you what angle the wind is coming from relative to your current heading, and how much of a benefit (mph/kmh, adjusted for the wind direction) the wind is giving you. The data field links to your free dynamicWatch account for your weather data. When you first use the field it will show you an 8 character code. Enter it into your dynamicWatch account at https://is.gd/ciqlink The field will try every 5 minutes to match the link code; when it is able to connect and check the code has been entered, the code will disappear and the weather will be shown.
