About
After a (long) period of time running with Fenix 6 Titan, I and my friend had not found any data field which suits our need so we created one for our own. It may feel chaotic but it's very easy to read when running outside. Here's the list of the fields from top to bottom, left to right:
1. Cadence. There's a hidden feature here for people who use garmin strap (garmin HRM run, tri, pro...). It checks your GCTB and will turn red on the left half if your GCTB is less than 49.5 and turn red on the right half if your GCTB is greater than 50.5. More about this topic here: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=71FahMTBtT1J5bbu9YLcm9.
2a. Average HR with 2 number decimal
2b. Elapsed distance
3a. Current HR
3b. Elapsed time
4a. Current pace (5s average)
4b. Lap pace. If lap pace is 10 seconds greater or lesser than current page, its background will turn red
5a. Average pace
5b. Remain lap distance. 1 lap is 1000 meters. Currently we don't support mile, sorry.
6. Training effect
To save battery, please set the refresh rate in app setting. Normally I set the data field to refresh after 4 seconds. Note that it will not affect Remain lap distance and current HR.
Please use this data field in 1 field layout.
