About

Gym Workout Tracker turns your Garmin watch into a focused strength-training companion. Prepare exercises and starting weight and rep targets in GymApp, send them to your watch, and log completed sets directly from your wrist. IMPORTANT: SAVING AND SYNC A phone connection is not required while training. The watch can independently record and save a Garmin FIT strength activity even if no sets were logged manually. Saved FIT activities are synchronized with Garmin Connect through the normal Garmin device sync process. Detailed exercises, weights, reps and sets are transferred separately to the paired GymApp for Android. This transfer requires: - The watch to be paired with GymApp for Android - The same GymApp account to remain signed in - At least one logged set in the completed workout If the phone is unavailable when the workout is saved, its logged details remain queued on the watch. After reconnecting, open GymApp and Garmin Connect on the phone, then reopen Gym Workout Tracker on the watch to retry the transfer. The web tracker can send workout plans to the watch, but it does not currently receive completed workouts from the watch. SETUP 1. Sign in to GymApp for Android and sync at least one workout plan to securely pair the watch with your account. 2. To send a plan from the web, open https://gymapptracker.com, create a workout, and select Sync Plan to Watch. 3. On the first cloud sync, copy the Cloud Token shown by GymApp into the Connect IQ setting named Cloud Token. Treat this token like a password and do not share it. 4. Open Gym Workout Tracker on the watch. The latest plan downloads automatically. If it does not appear, open Settings and select CLOUD / SYNC. Pairing is optional for local FIT activity recording, but it is required for receiving plans from GymApp and transferring completed workout details back to Android. During synchronization, keep the paired phone nearby with Bluetooth and internet enabled and Garmin Connect running. FEATURES - Independent Garmin FIT strength activity recording - Exercise, weight, reps and set logging from the wrist - Workout plans prepared in GymApp - Synced exercise names and starting weight and rep targets - Live workout time, heart rate and current heart-rate zone - Optional heart-rate-based set cue that always requires confirmation - LOW, NORMAL and HIGH cue sensitivity - Configurable weight step, default reps and rest duration - Rest countdown with vibration when recovery ends - GymApp strength-calorie estimate alongside watch-reported calories - Workout summary with duration, sets, average and maximum heart rate, and calories - Persistent workout queue for transfer to the paired Android app - Touch and physical button controls - English, Ukrainian and Russian interface GARMIN CONNECT AND GYMAPP DATA Garmin Connect receives the saved FIT activity, including supported activity metrics such as duration, heart rate and calories. Detailed exercise names, weights, reps and completed sets are transferred separately to GymApp for Android and may not appear as individual strength sets in Garmin Connect. CONTROLS - UP / DOWN: move the selection - LEFT / RIGHT: change exercise, weight, reps or settings - START / SELECT: open or confirm the selected action - BACK / LAP: go back; from the dashboard, pause and open workout options - MENU: open the pause and options screen - CLOUD / SYNC: download the latest cloud plan - SAVE: review the summary, save the FIT activity and exit - DISCARD: exit without saving the active workout Touch-enabled watches also support row taps and swipes. A failed FIT save does not close the workout, allowing you to retry without losing the active session.
