Snowfall is a premium digital watch face with a crisp, serene winter alpine aesthetic — a living winter sky, aurora over a starfield, drifting clouds, falling snow, and a snow-laden pine, all procedurally rendered. Large outlined time and clean complications keep you connected all winter. FEATURES & DETAILS • LIVING WINTER SKY: A procedural backdrop that shifts color by time of day — deep indigo night, cold rose dawn, pale midday blue, cold-peach sunset, twilight purple. • AURORA & STARS: Wavy green/cyan/violet aurora ribbons drift above a field of stars through the long winter nights. • ARCING SUN & MOON: A pale winter sun and silver crescent moon arc across day and night, driven by the REAL sunrise/sunset for your location and date — sky, day/night, and aurora all follow the true sun times. • PROCEDURAL ANIMATIONS: Drifting clouds, rolling snow-drift layers, falling snow, and a swaying snow-laden pine silhouette. • FESTIVE MODE: Flip one switch to deck the halls — Santa's sleigh and reindeer (Rudolph and all) sweep the sky every couple of minutes, the pine lights up with a sparkling star topper and blinking multicolor strings, and a Star of Bethlehem shines at night. One switch turns them on or off. • ROTATING SECONDS: A six-armed snowflake second indicator orbiting the perimeter. • CONFIGURABLE COMPLICATIONS: Set the bottom-left and bottom-right to Heart Rate (live BPM), Body Battery, Device Battery (live fill bar), Steps, Calories, or Off, each with a matching icon. Heart rate samples at most once every ~10 seconds to spare the battery. Fonts are baked for every resolution, so it looks right from 166px Instinct panels up to 454px flagships. ALWAYS-ON FRIENDLY On AMOLED, the always-on display switches to a burn-in-safe variant — dim grey time/date, thin outline battery metrics and steps progress, no fills or animation, and lit pixels shifted each minute. MIP panels always show the full face. SETTINGS • Show Date — toggle the date line. • Festive Mode — toggle Santa's sleigh flyover and the sparkling lit Christmas tree. • Winter Critters — toggle the occasional crossing visitors (fox, hare, cardinal, chickadee, owl, arctic fox, wolf, stag). • Step Goal Override — steps for a full progress bar; 0 uses the watch's own step goal. • Bottom-Left Complication — Off / Heart Rate / Body Battery / Device Battery / Steps / Calories. • Bottom-Right Complication — same options. PRIVACY Snowfall uses only the SensorHistory permission (to read Body Battery). Heart rate and last-known location are read on-device to show your BPM and compute local sunrise/sunset; no data is collected or transmitted off your watch.
