Flying Lite (BETA)

The Flying (Lite) activity app is the lite version of the full Flying app, repurposed to support devices with smaller available memory. The app is built for pilots, by pilots and currently displays altitude (GPS), groundspeed, track, vertical speed, heart rate, block times, lat/lon position, UTC time and timers for fuel and oxygen. During flight there are alerts for fuel timer and oxygen altitudes (caution/warning). After you return to the hangar, the activity is saved and uploaded to Garmin Connect just like any other activity. The app is currently in BETA so the potential exists to run into some bugs. IMPORTANT: Although every attempt has been made to ensure that the information displayed (including, but not limited to, altitude, ground speed, vertical speed, track) is correct and/or within tolerances for VFR flight, you accept that the app is intended ONLY as an aid to VFR planning/flight, that the app should NOT be used as a primary navigation/information source and that responsibility for the safe and correct operation of the flight lies solely with the PIC.
