MagniGuard – Real-Time Magnetic Interference Monitor for Garmin MagniGuard is a safety-focused Garmin app that helps you detect magnetic interference, monitor environmental exposure, and identify magnetic objects nearby. It includes a background scanner, sleep zone analyzer, metal detector mode, GPS logging, and data export. Designed for awareness and safety, MagniGuard can alert you to strong magnetic fields that may disrupt sleep, affect sensitive electronics, or pose other risks. IMPORTANT: This is a WATCH APP. You must launch it manually from your device's list of apps, where activities like running or biking are also started. To start MagniGuard, go to your watch's main app list, scroll to the bottom, and select the app from there. Key Features (Premium): • Magnetic Exposure Tracking (Background): Automatically measures magnetic field deviations every 5 minutes. Stores up to 12 hours of historical data and uses a personal calibration baseline with customizable alert thresholds. • Smart Alerts System: Alerts when strong magnetic interference is detected. Choose from tones, vibrations, screen flashes, and flexible intervals (from 5 minutes to 24 hours). • Sleep Zone Scanner: Scan your bedroom or hotel room before sleep to ensure there are no dangerous magnetic hotspots. Instant results in visual and numeric form. • Metal Detector Mode: Detects magnetic objects around you (e.g., speakers, magnets, devices in walls). Especially useful for identifying interference sources. • GPS Logging: Attaches accurate location data to each magnetic reading, using multiple fallback methods while preserving battery. • Data Export: Send full history with timestamps and GPS (if available) to your email. The system quietly restores your subscription in the background. True Offline Mode: After one successful check, the app remembers your expiration date securely. You can go days—sometimes weeks—without needing another network call. Battery & Memory Friendly: I’ve cut down on heavy background work. This identifier remains consistent across all apps on the same device and ensures smooth access to premium features. What has changed? The app now calculates the identifier based on a combination of securely selected system and user profile data to minimize the chance of duplicate matches between different devices. Important information In rare cases, such as after a system update, new phone pairing, profile changes, or reinstalling the app, it is possible that a new identifier is generated and the app may no longer recognize your previous entitlement automatically.
