About

xDrip+ Watch is a variant of CGM WATCH 2, but this app gets your bloodglucose readings directly from xDrip+ app running on your phone. No internet connection is required! The functionality is nearly the same: The app does not only display the time, but it also shows the last blood glucose reading including the trend of the last readings and the app count your steps. If you are using the closed loop app AndroidAPS you can see your status. Pressing a button or swiping should snooze a xDrip+ alarm. If you like you can send activity data to xDrip+ (steps, heartrate). They are shown in xDrip+ if you activate the corresponding settings under Smartwatch Features. If you are not using the xDrip+ app but running Nightscout installation then use my app CGM WATCH 2. +++++ PLEASE READ THIS ADVISORY Never make a medical decision based on a reading that you see on this app e.g. your watch. Always perform a fingerstick blood glucose check first. +++++ INSTALL COMPANION APP You need to install a nightly build from xDrip+ compiled after the 10th January 2018: https://github.com/NightscoutFoundation/xDrip/releases https://jamorham.github.io/#xdrip-plus To enable communications between the Garmin app xDrip+ Watch and the Android app xDrip+ you have to enable xDrip Web Service (Settings - Inter-app settings). To see the AAPS status line please enable this feature in AndroidAPS. Please mention that this app couldn't show detailed IOB (this feature should be disabeld in AAPS!). SETTINGS You can show your values in mg/dl or mmol/l. Choose your language: English or German. The bloodglucose alert will alarm if your values are under the choosen value. The alert reraises every five minutes and stopps if the direction of the values turns. COLORED LINE The colored lines interpretate the last glucose reading, but it is your own decision how you will react. For me the colors have this meaning: - Green line: Fine, nothing to do. - Yellow line: Be careful! - Red line: Your blood glucose is out of range. Do something! TWO HOUR GRAPH AND DATE / BATTERY STATUS You can view a two hour graph of your bloodglucose readings and navigate to date and battery status by tapping on the arrow keys (forerunners, fenix 3) respectively the escape and menu keys (fr630, vivoactive) or swipe up or down if your watch has a touch screen. If the battery symbol appears on the main screen, there is less than 20% power left. The app consumes more battery power than a regular watchface, because it connects regularly to xDrip+ to get the glucose readings. On my vivoactive I can run the app up to four days without charging. EXIT To close the app hit the key with the three dots (fr920xt), the start/stop key (fr230/235/630/735xt, fenix 3) respectively the action key (vivoactive). ERROR CODES If you get an error code, look at "http://developer.garmin.com/downloads/connect-iq/monkey-c/doc/Toybox/Communications.html" to understand the problem. Normally error codes are caused by problems with the bluetooth connection to xDrip+. This problems are not caused by the app ...
