About

Lactate datafield The lactate datafield allows you to see the current lactate level in your blood*. This is done by mapping your blood lactate with your heart rate value. It is strongly advised to enter personally tested values for lactate and heart rate. There are many firms in the gym/health industry that provides these kinds of tests. For the app to take this values in considerations you have to enter these in the appsettings. How to do this and much more is described in the user manual: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4y3LW0CmmA-aU5JZkNLa3p6ajA/view?usp=sharing If no settings is provided, data will be calculated based on your presumed maximum heart rate and applied to the model described in the following article: http://www.sportsci.org/2009/ss.htm#_Toc245522381. These data is according to the article used by the Norwegian Olympic Federation. * THE MODEL USED IN THIS SOFTWARE IS AN HIGHLY APPROXIMATE MODEL. IF YOU’RE INTRESTED OF AN ACCURATE VALUE IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO USE A UNIT FOR MEASURING BLOODLACTATE. N.B: THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
