Also has the ability to enter a postcode (short or full) to override the watches gps/wether position. Helpful if you live in a different place to where you want to know the tide (tidal flow) UK Tide information [UK ONLY] for Global tides please use my other widget TIDECAST There is a choice of UK Tide data Sources available via app /widget settings using the ConnectIQ phone app. Widget will automatically locate the nearest tide/station based on Garmin weather location or GPS (lat/long) or be set via a manual postcode entry (added via widget settings) this override can be toggled on/off via both the widget in watch and via ConnectIQ app settings. Glance view shows the next tide information (rising/falling and high low tide time and tide height) Main view shows - Tide station name from where data is retreived and distance - Next 2 tide times also shows Tide direction (Rising/Falling), countdown to next tide and tide heights - Press Select (triangle) button to show addtional dates of cahed tide data (6-7 days cache), back button to return to main view. - Hold Menu: Allows a manual refresh of data and refresh of GPS (if enabled in settings) & select postcode override This widget requires a phone connection in order to download the data. lat/lng data is used to determin nearest UK tide station. If outside uK data from nearest station will be shown along with a notification that you are outside the UK (station data only available for UK currently) Please save the settings via Connect IQ before loading the widget Please use the contact developer if any issues.
