About

This datafield is developed for marathon race: when run a marathon race, the GPS of watch is not always accurate, and distance is not same as the official. Only the elapsed time from start and official distance markers are accurate. Suppose I want to finish the full marathon within 3 hours (sub300), the average pace is about 4:15 (4 minutes and 15 seconds) per kilometer. When I reach official 10km marker, the time I cost expected is 42:30. At this monent, if the datafield shows 9-0:05, it means 5 seconds ahead; 10-4:10 means 5 seconds behind. How to use: Set the elapsed time(minutes:seconds) one lap you expect to cost. No need set one lap distance, it can be any distance, usually 1km or 1mile in marathon race. Then when the acitivity starts, the datafield shows two data: one is lap count you have finished (based on the activity time divide by setting time), the other is countdown to finish next lap. Notice: 1. the display depends on device, I recommend in the middle of 3 datafield layout in Forerunner645; 2. multiple datafields are refresh asynchronously, the countdown may be 1 second ahead/behind.
