Copy of Run Assit, this will display more different information
Fields of data that can correct the distance course by pressing lap, this is very convenient for people running on track or on road who have mileage points.
You can choose different value to display among:
- The chrono
- Time elapsed
- Lap time
- The number of lap: the number of times you pressed the lap
- The time of the previous lap
- The clock at the end of the previous lap
- Adjusted current distance: the current distance traveled (the one rectified with the laps management rule)
- The average pace of the race (using the adjusted distance)
- The average pace of the current lap
- The pace of the previous lap (using the adjusted distance of the previous lap)
- Advance / Delay in distance
- Advance / Delay in time
This data field has been created to match the needs of a 24h runner.
_______ Adding this data field to an activity ______
This is a data field. Unlike applications and widgets, it does not appear in the monitoring menu after downloading.
Instead, it can be added to native applications. The procedure can change from one device to another, so check the manual to be sure. In general, this should look like this:
- Open an activity (for example "Run")
- Press and hold the MENU / UP button to open the menu
- Choose "Run Settings"
- Choose "Data Screens"
- Choose "Screen 1"
- Choose "Edit data fields"
- Choose the first field
- Choose "Connect IQ"
- Choose "Run Assit"

To set up a data field, you can use the Garmin Connect Mobile app on your phone or the Garmin Express on your computer.
Using your phone:
- Open the Garmin Connect Mobile app on your phone
- Search for "Garmin Devices" in the main menu;
- Choose your device
- Then "Connect IQ Apps"
- Then data fields
- Then "Run Assit"
- Then settings
