About

A GP instrument cluster for your wrist. Your heart, on a race dashboard. US$4.99, with a 7-day free trial. The trial is the complete watch face, not a limited version. Payment is handled by KiezelPay. Not a watch face with racing graphics — a working interactive instrument cluster. The tachometer is calibrated to your zones, not a generic 60-190 scale, so the needle sits where your effort actually is. Seven shift lights run on the same calibration and light the way they do on a real bike: green, amber, red. Everything else earns its place. Three status lamps you can hold to read. Four telemetry channels across three pages — today, this week, the long haul. Nine manufacturer palettes, grouped by racing nation. Each one changes the accent, the machined lip, the housing material and the backlight temperature — so a marque is a material, not a hue. Two dashboard profiles: MAP 1 is a lit pit-lane prototype, MAP 2 a production superbike TFT at night. Built for the panel it runs on. Every colour is verified against what a 16-bit display actually emits rather than what the hex value promises. It reads in sunlight because the contrast hierarchy was designed for sunlight. A value it cannot read shows "- - -", never a zero. A zero is a measurement. A blank is a fault. Knowing which one you are looking at is the whole point of an instrument. WHEN THE TRIAL ENDS The face shows a six-digit code instead of the dashboard. That is not a fault. Go to www.kzl.io/code , enter the code, and pay by card or PayPal. Leave the face on — it re-checks every five minutes. It needs your phone for that, so check Bluetooth if it stays on the code screen. Buy it once and it stays bought on that watch. SETTING IT UP Settings live in Garmin Connect, Watch Face, Settings, not on the watch. Manufacturer palette. The default Standard is deliberately the most neutral of the nine. Try Italian 1, Japan 3 or German to see what the system does. Dashboard map. MAP 1 is the race prototype, MAP 2 the production panel. Same data, different material. Tachometer. It calibrates itself from the resting, threshold and maximum heart rate in your Garmin profile. If those are still factory defaults the needle will sit wrong — that is the calibration working correctly on bad input. Fix your profile, or set the anchors by hand under ECU Calibration. USING IT Touch and hold the middle of the tachometer to open whatever it is showing — heart rate, Body Battery, stress, step goal or calorie burn — in Garmin's own app. Touch and hold a telemetry row to open that metric the same way. Hold the module header to change page: right side forward, left side back. It can also rotate on a timer. Touch and hold any of the three status lamps to read why it is in that state. THE LAMPS Top green launch control — armed above your Body Battery threshold Middle red pit limiter — Do Not Disturb, sleep mode, or your own hours Bottom amber warning — low battery, no phone, or at redline WHY A VALUE SHOWS "- - -" It means that value could not be read, not that it is zero. Some channels need a phone connection, some are only published after a night's sleep, and some your device may not record at all. A dash is honest; a zero would not be. WHAT SOME LABELS MEAN GRID your readiness to train FUEL watch battery BURN calories LOAD stress LAPS progress toward your step goal Garmin does not expose Training Readiness, focus modes, or the Power Manager preset to a watch face. Where a dashboard concept has no API behind it, this face uses the closest real measurement and says so: Launch control Body Battery, above a threshold you set Pit limiter Do Not Disturb, sleep mode, or hours you choose GRID readiness Body Battery MAP power state derived from display mode, battery and charge state Nothing on the face is invented, and nothing shows a number it did not measure.

What's new

**Fenix 9 and 9 Pro support added** Hold a reading to open the Garmin app behind it. Hold the middle of the tachometer and it opens whatever the tach is set to show — heart rate, Body Battery, stress, step goal or calorie burn. Hold a telemetry row and it opens that metric. Holding a status lamp still tells you what it is reporting. Nine manufacturer palettes, now grouped by racing nation, with two new identities and a brighter violet on Italian 2. The line under the time can roll. Leave it as the date, or have it alternate between the date and what the ECU has to say — low fuel, no phone, a warning, launch armed, pit limiter on. Everything true gets a turn, the date comes back between each one, and it is off until you set an interval under Display. MAP 2 is properly distinct — its bezel is drawn flat, so it reads as a printed panel next to MAP 1's machined one. Telemetry pages rescoped to today / 7 days / long term, and you can drop them to three rows if four is tight to read at a glance. Status lamps are configurable: set your own launch-control threshold, choose what the warning lamp watches, and give the pit limiter your own focus hours. Connections bay rebuilt — every glyph in it can now actually change state. Now runs on 22 devices. The app asks for two permissions: Background and Communications. RaceDashWF is US$4.99 with a 7-day free trial, handled by KiezelPay, and those permissions are what let it check the licence — the face contacts kiezelpay.com in the background and sends an anonymous ID for this installation. That ID is the only thing that ever leaves your watch. Your activity and health data is read to draw the dashboard and is never transmitted anywhere. No analytics. No Account.
