Hona
· v1.1
About
Hona puts your planned session on your wrist and brings the ride or run back into Hona when you finish.
It runs as a full-screen data field inside your normal Garmin activity, so your watch keeps recording everything exactly as it always does. Your native FIT file, your GPS, your paired sensors and your Garmin Connect sync are all untouched. Hona simply layers guidance on top.
DURING THE SESSION
Your workout appears before you press start: the name, how long it runs, and the shape of the whole session as a bar of intervals. Once you are moving you get the time left in the current interval, your live power, pace or heart rate coloured against the target band, and where you are in the session at a glance. The watch buzzes at every interval change, so guidance still works when you are looking at a different data screen.
Pace follows your watch's own units, so it reads in minutes per mile or per kilometre exactly as you have your watch set.
AFTER THE SESSION
Your workout syncs to Hona on its own. Charts, zones and training load are ready by the time you have your phone out, with no export, no file juggling and no waiting on a third-party connection.
WORKS WITH A MULTI-FIELD SCREEN
Add Hona as its own full screen, or drop it into one panel of a custom layout and it renders a compact version built for the space: interval time, your live effort number, and the session bar.
REQUIRES A HONA ACCOUNT
Hona is the training app this field belongs to. You will need an account and to link your watch in the app for workouts to arrive and sessions to sync.
Hona is currently in invite-only beta. If you do not have access yet, this field will tell you to link your watch and will wait until you do.
