What's new

Usage Hints: Bryan emphasizes that sleep is the most important factor in health and longevity. Set your regular sleep time and wake time in your "Sleep mode - Schedule" section in your watch's System settings and stick to it. Eat your last meal at least 4 hours prior; turn off all screens at least one hour prior and avoid strenuous exercise 4 hours prior. Sleep in a quiet, blacked out room, that is slightly cool; not warm or hot. Get into bed a few minutes before your scheduled sleep time and perform breathing exercises to calm yourself. (Listening to theta waves for 5-15 minutes is also effective.) Take note of what your HR is and with practice you should be able to lower it. The watchface will record your HR at the scheduled sleep time to refer to later. The next morning get sunlight exposure early, and check your overnight RHR and HR before sleep. You can refer to the HR Before Sleep graph feature of the watchface. (See https://ko-fi.com/post/HR-Before-Sleep-Graph-Shows-Effectiveness-of-Night-H2H11SR2ZL ) Use the Garmin Lifestyle logging feature. Note any lifestyle habits that seem to increase or decrease these 2 metrics or your sleep score. Aim to get your HR before sleep as close to your RHR as possible. Positive changes in your exercise, diet, stress management etc should result in decreases in RHR. Version 0.15.0 Corrected the 7 day distance value. Version 0.14.0 Corrected 7 day load for meditation to use duration. Version 0.13.1 Added support for the Forerunner 70 and 170.
