About

TGWatch 1 is a minimal watch face built around one idea: the time should be readable in a glance, in sunlight, without your reading glasses. The hours and minutes are drawn in a condensed vector font sized to your screen — the face measures "88:88" and steps the size down until the widest possible time fits 90% of the display width. No cropped digits on any supported watch, and no wasted space either. Above the time sits a compact info line. Below it, a large accent-coloured value with an optional goal bar and label — or two smaller values side by side, each with its own bar and label. Every slot is yours to choose. WHAT YOU CAN PUT IN EACH SLOT - Date — SAT 25 JUL - Steps — grouped with thousands separators, 12,345 - Heart rate — live reading, falling back to your most recent sample when no live value is available - Battery — percentage - Calories - Distance — kilometres or miles, following your watch's own unit setting - Nothing — leave the slot empty for an even cleaner face The goal bar tracks the fields that have a goal: steps against your daily step goal, battery against full. Pick a field without a goal and the bar simply stays out of the way. TEN SETTINGS - Time colour - Accent colour — the bottom value and the goal bar - Label colour — the top line and the field labels - Background colour - Top field - Bottom field (left) - Two bottom fields — off by default; switch it on for steps on the left and battery % on the right - Bottom field (right) - Show goal bar - Show field label Change them in Garmin Connect, or without touching your phone: long-press UP, then Watch Face, TGWatch 1, Settings. Every setting is editable on the watch itself, and the face redraws the moment you pick a value. BUILT FOR AMOLED AND MIP Layout is expressed as fractions of screen height rather than fixed pixels, so the same proportions hold across every supported screen, from 218x218 up to 454x454, on AMOLED and on memory-in-pixel alike. Text is measured before it is drawn, not assumed to fit. On the smallest screens, where the watch offers no vector font and even its smallest built-in font is wide, values step down a size and long labels shorten — BATTERY becomes BATT — so nothing is ever clipped by the bezel. On always-on displays, sleep mode drops to date and time only, drawn in a lighter, smaller face in low-contrast grey on black. That keeps the lit-pixel count to around 6% of the display, comfortably inside the 10% these panels allow: less burn-in risk, less battery drawn while your wrist is down. 12-hour mode drops the leading zero. 24-hour mode keeps it. SUPPORTED WATCHES 91 watches across eight screen sizes: - fenix — 5 Plus, 6, 6 Pro, 7, 7 Pro, 8 Solar, 8 (43mm, 47mm, 51mm), 8 Pro, plus the E, and tactix and quatix variants - Forerunner — 165, 170, 245, 255, 265, 570, 745, 945, 955, 965, 970 - Venu — 2, 2S, 2 Plus, 3, 3S, 4 (41mm, 45mm) - vivoactive — 3 Music, 4, 4S, 5, 6 - epix — Gen 2, Pro (42mm, 47mm, 51mm) - MARQ — Gen 1 collection and Gen 2, Gen 2 Aviator - Instinct 3 AMOLED (45mm, 50mm), Instinct Crossover AMOLED - Enduro, Enduro 3, Descent Mk2, Mk2S, Mk3, G2, D2 Air X10, D2 Mach 1, Mach 2, Approach S50, S70

What's new

=== WHAT'S NEW — 1.2.0 === 86 more watches. The face now runs on 91 models instead of 5 — fenix 5 Plus through fenix 8, the Forerunner range, Venu, vivoactive, epix, MARQ, Instinct AMOLED, Enduro, Descent, D2 and Approach — on AMOLED and memory-in-pixel screens from 218x218 to 454x454. Nothing gets clipped on the small screens. Values and labels are now measured against the space each row actually has and step down a size, or shorten, when the full text will not fit. The always-on clock is drawn in a lighter, smaller face. Same readability at a glance, roughly half the lit pixels, which keeps it well inside what always-on displays allow. === WHAT'S NEW — 1.1.0 === Two data fields at the bottom. Switch on "Two bottom fields" and the bottom row splits into two columns — steps on the left, battery % on the right by default — each with its own goal bar and label. Any field can go in either column. Leave the setting off and the face looks exactly as it did. === WHAT'S NEW — 1.0.0 === First release.
