The time is displayed using large overlapping digits that fill the screen while keeping a clean and readable layout. Choose between solid digits with a black border or hollow outlined digits. You can show up to two data fields, one above and one below the time. Options include battery, heart rate, calories, active calories, steps, floors climbed, notifications, seconds, intensity minutes, VO2 max, Body Battery, stress, Pulse Ox, respiration rate, recovery time, weather, temperature, humidity, week number, calendar events, time zones, training status, weekly run distance, weekly bike distance, and phone connection status. Each data field can display an icon next to its value. Date can be enabled with weekday and day number in a vertical layout. Colors are independent for hours, minutes, date, and each data field. Choose from 19 colors for the time digits and a smaller palette for the other elements. You can also enable or disable the leading zero in 12-hour mode and choose between two date layouts. On touch devices, press and hold the center of the screen to show or hide the complications grid. On AMOLED devices, always-on display is supported with position shifting to help prevent screen burn-in. The watch face uses partial screen updates and cached indicator data to reduce battery usage. It works on round and semi-round screens across all supported resolutions.
