About

Fuel & Hydration Pro by EnduranceTech Take the guesswork out of your endurance races and long training runs. Fuel & Hydration Pro is an advanced Connect IQ Data Field designed specifically for marathoners, ultra-runners, and cyclists. It acts as your real-time digital pacer and nutritionist right on your wrist, calculating your estimated sweat loss, dynamic carbohydrate needs, and actively monitoring your Lactate Threshold. Never blow up before the finish line again! This data field replaces the need to check multiple screens by putting all your crucial metabolic data into one highly readable, dynamic dashboard. KEY FEATURES & DYNAMIC ALERTS: Customizable Carbohydrate Targets: Every athlete is different. You can easily set your preferred carbohydrate intake threshold (e.g., 30g, 60g, 90g) directly from the Garmin Connect app on your phone. The data field adapts to your setting! Full-Screen "EAT" Alerts: Once you burn enough energy to hit your custom carb threshold, a full-screen green alert will vibrate and prompt you to eat, then automatically reset for the next cycle. Electrolyte/Magnesium Warnings: Calculates fluid loss based on activity time and temperature. It will trigger a full-screen orange alert reminding you to take your Magnesium/Electrolytes after significant sweat loss. Lactate Threshold Defense: Overtraining on a climb? A pop-up red warning panel will alert you if you spend too much continuous time over your Lactate Threshold (LT).

What's new

ON-SCREEN DATA FIELD BREAKDOWN: (From top to bottom, as seen in the layout) HR Zone Gauge (Top Arc): A visual, color-coded arc along the top edge of the screen that dynamically indicates your current heart rate zone. Perfect for a quick glance without reading numbers. Current Heart Rate (Top Center): Marked with a red heart icon, this displays your live HR (e.g., 162 bpm). Estimated Water Loss (Row 1, Left): Marked with a blue water drop. It calculates your estimated fluid loss (in ml) based on active time and ambient temperature, guiding your hydration strategy. Carbs Needed (Row 1, Right): Marked with a yellow wheat icon. This shows the accumulated carbohydrates (in grams) you need to consume. Once this matches your phone app settings, an alert is triggered! After this alert, this field will reset to 0 again, assuming you have taken your carbs. (The alert message "Take carbs!" will appear only if you're watch displaying this data field, otherwise you will feel 2 vibrations and hear a beep) LTD / Lactate Threshold Difference (Row 2, Left): Shows the exact beat difference between your current HR and your Lactate Threshold limit. A negative number (e.g., -3) means you are safely below the redline. LTT / Lactate Threshold Time (Row 2, Right): Tracks the continuous time (in seconds) spent above your Lactate Threshold. Calories Burned (Row 3, Left): Your total active calories burned during the session. Activity Timer (Row 3, Right): Your current active elapsed time. Magnesium Status (Bottom Center): Displays your current electrolyte status. It reads "Mg: OK" normally, and automatically switches to a prominent "Take Mg!" warning when you cross the heavy fluid-loss threshold. After this alert, this field will reset to "Mg: OK" again, assuming you have taken your minerals. (The alert message "Take MAGNEZIU!" will appear only if you're watch displaying this data field, otherwise you will feel 2 vibrations and hear a beep).
