Squadrats Viewer

A widget that enables users to view the Squadrats / Squadratinhos in the surrounding area and get notified if you have navigated from one square to another. This app is not in any way affiliated with squadrats.com and may be used to track tiles of size 14 and 17 for any tile hunting platform. Features: - A map that shows your location (square you're in) and immediate squares around you. - If you navigate, the widget will notify you (sound + vibrate) if you have moved to another square. Also, the view will update and display a marker in the visited squares. - The app is configurable (hold the "menu" button for 2 seconds to see the options). * You can select a zoom level (Close / Medium / Far / Very far) * You can select if you want to see Squadrats or Squadratinhos * You can select if the watch should make sound and/or vibrate when a new tile is visited * You can select if the map shows distances to the squares around it * You can see the visited square count and reset them * You can browse an "overview map" that does not reset zoom and you can move around This is a widget that is meant to be used during an activity. First you start your activity (running, cycling, etc.) like usual and then navigate to your widgets menu and start the viewer from there. On the viewer map you can then also see the track you've done and the course, if selected. Additional notes: * The GPS is not always accurate and not all devices save the location every second so my suggestion is to move 5-10m further into the square once you hear the alert to guarante that it is visited. * Due to limitations of Garmin devices, the widget will only remember a maximum of 200 square visits. If you visit more, the first ones will be cleared as you progress. The counts will still go beyond 200. * The widget can at the moment only track either squadrats or squadratinhos, not both at the same time.
