About
NOTES:
This is a DATA FIELD but not an app! So you MUST setup your layout with only 1 item, then select CIQ for the data field, and finally select this one.
And this Data Field is optimized for REAL-TIME data, so such as the AVG-Speed, total elevation gain, total calories, etc are considered unimportant values. If you really want to check those data, I highly recommend you setup your profile with multiple layouts, one layout with this one, another layout with all other fields that you want personally.
--------------
Functional Description:
1. Support colorful zone area for easier reading;
- Two color schemas. Legacy: LightBlue/Blue/DarkBlue/Green/Yellow/Red/Purple; ZWIFT: Grey/Blue/Green/Yellow/Orange/Red/Purple.
2. Support more meaningful Slope display;
3. Support configure zones in an easy way (Just set LTHR or FTP) or configure zone detailed;
4. Support Balance/Torque Effectiveness/Pedal Smoothness;
5. Support DI2 gear information (Required CIQ 1.2.10 or newer);
6. Support Garmin Vector Phase graphic (ONLY IF your power meter provides Efficiency and Smoothness);
7. Support calculate NP. And will show NP and Average Power alternately.
8. Show Trend of Slope/Cadence if no HR AND Power; Show HR Trend if NO Power.
8. NEW! Support Wind direction and speed
9. Support auto-on/off backlight based on Sunrise/Sunset time (will set off the backlight off between half an hour after sunrise and half an hour before sunset).
You can set it via the configuration, with fully auto / auto on only / auto off only / disable.
There are two dots beside the battery indicator.
The left one is the GPS signal indicator. If it is: GREY - no GPS signal; GREEN - W/ GPS in Day time; BLUE - W/ GPS in Night time.
The right one is the backlight on/off indicator. If it is not shown, means backlight is off. When show: YELLOW - will be off if reaching day time; RED - NOTICE will NOT be off even if reaching day time.
-
Configuration Description:
Pre-Steps:
1. Connect your power meter with your Edge Device, set layout as only 1 data field, then select data field with CIQ, then pick up this data field;
2. Measure your LTHR (Lactate Threshold Heart Rate) yourself;
3. Measure your FTP (Functional Threshold Power) yourself.
-
Configuration:
Use Connect Mobile App or Express software to configure parameters;
-
Color and Zone Description:
Generally, Green Color means Competition Zone. And you can continually output around 1 hour.
If drop down into Blue or similar color, means your output lower than expected. Lighter means lower.
If raise to Yellow Color, means you enter Anaerobic Boundary Zone. So you can only continually output around 10 to 20 minutes.
If raise to Purple or Red color, means your output extremely high. And you can only continually output around 1 to 5 minutes.
-
Speed Meter / HR / Power:
1 - Bright Blue - 0 to 20km / HR Recovery / Power Recovery
2 - Light Blue - 20 to 30km / HR Endurance / Power Endurance
3 - Blue - 30 to 35km / HR Tempo / Power tempo
4 - GREEN - 35 to 40km / HR 4 zone Sub Threshold / Power Threshold (CP 20 to 60)
5 - Yellow - 40 to 45km / HR 5a zone Over Threshold / Power VO2Max (CP 12 to 20)
6 - Purple - 45 to 50km / HR 5b zone Anaerobic / Power Anaerobic (CP 6 to 12)
7 - Red - Over 50km / HR 5c zone Sprint Max / Power Sprint Max (CP 1 to 6)
-
Cadence Meter:
Light Blue - 0 to 50
Blue - 50 to 80
GREEN - 80 to 110
Yellow - 110 to 130
Red - Over 130
-
Slope Meter:
Light Blue - Negative slope
Green - 0% to 5%
Yellow - 6% to 10%
Pink - 11% to 15%
Red - Over 15%
(Besides color, at the bottom of Slope Rectangle border, contains actual Slope Graphic to make it easier to read)
What's new
NOTE:
- ONLY if power meter provides TorqueEfficiency AND PedalSmoothness, then will show phase graph. Otherwise, will show power trend. Also can change DisplayMode in settings to force to show trend or lite mode.
Versions:
v2.5.0: Add pairing power meter with ID to get REAL Phase data.
v2.4.1: Resolve Edge 550/850 layout issue.
v2.4.0: Update to SDK 8, set auto-backlight as System Detecting by default, to resolve 1050 backlight off issue.
v2.3.1: Update to SDK 7.3.0, Support Edge 1050 now!
v2.2.5: Update to SDK 6.4.1, fixed the crashing due to Garming firmware updating
v2.2.4: Update to SDK 6.3.0
v2.2.3: Will show power trend if the power meter does not provide the TF and PS data. If support advanced data, tapping on the area can switch between trend and adv data.
v2.1.13:Add GPS/DayNight indicator
Optimize ZWIFT and wind color schema
v2.1.6: Add wind direction and speed display (On the right side of speed meter, MUST sync mobile with Weather info)
Base on the Sunrise/Sunset to turn on/off backlight
V2.0.6: Update to SDK 4.2.4
Support Edge 840/540
Fixed the auto-backlight mode, and also add the light indicator beside the battery
V2.0.5: Update to SDK 4.2.3
Support new Edge devices
Update Slope calculation logic
Add AverageSpeed, MaxSpeed display
Add ZWIFT zones colors schema
Now we can change the FTP and LTHR dynamically
V1.9.6: Udpate to SDK 4.1.4
Support new Edge devices
V1.9.5: Update to SDK 3.1.5
Support new Edge devices
v1.9.3: Fixed advanced data cannot be displayed.
Support Garmin 520 Plus
Compile with latest SDK 3.0.4
v1.9.2: Remove customize DataSensor id. Add option to set display mode (Advanced / Basic)
v1.9.1.1: Compile with SDK 2.4.7

Adjusted layouts for Edge 1000 to make numbers more clearly.
v1.7.8: Fix the crash issue on Edge 820 with 6.3 or later firmware. Fix the cadence not be shown if no power meter applied.
v1.7: BIG UPDATE! In this build, if setting PowerMeter ID as 0 will share system Power data including Effectiveness, Smoothness, and will base on Eff/Smooth to simulation calculate PowerPhase value. Which means that, like Stages meter also can show Phase graph! (ONLY requires Eff/Smooth value). But NOTICE that, it will ALWAYS use simulation PowerPhase value, so if you use Garmin Vector and want to see ACTUAL meter phase value, you still need to configure PowerMeter ID and disable system power meter. (Simulation data shown as GREEN and actual data shown as BLUE)
- Improve Slope calculation. Recently more accuracy, less problems.
v1.6: Make numbers larger to enhance readability. Enhance calculation of Speed meter, HR and Power meter, small values will also impact meter bar now.
v1.5: Update to SDK 2.1.2 to support latest firmware (later than 9.0).
v1.4: Add Lite Layouts (During Power Meter Sensor ID not configured or configured Sensor CANNOT connected).
