Any reviews, feedback or general comments are more than welcome! Leave a review, comment at https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/f/showcase/428778/app-breath-counter or email me at [email protected] and I will try to respond to all!
Using Vitals Counter:
Once downloaded find it by pressing the start activity button and scroll to it (make it more accessible by moving it to the top of the list or creating a shortcut). Select the timer duration (15s, 20s, 30s or 60S) and measurement type and wait for the countdown to start. Tap on each breath/beat and the watch will average the taps over a minute to provide a result.
Scroll down from the result to access history (or quickly access it via the timer selection page) where up to 32 results are displayed. Select each option to view it and compare to the reference table* or scroll to the bottom to clear all history and ensure privacy.
The only data the app collects is the time of the count and the total of the count, no name, location or any other data to ensure patient privacy is maintained.
Compatible Devices:
I tried to include the most common watch variants from 2021 onwards, I had some issues adapting to the older models (specifically with confirmation pages) but if the demand is there I can try to work it out!
