About

Ever tried to use a regular shot timer in a crowded range? Forget that, use the Garmin Shot Timer. This App measures the recoil and calculates the time between shots. Launch the app and the green line shows the recoil of the pistol. Take one shot, and using the UP/DOWN keys, adjust the trip point below the recoil. After that, the time delay between each shot is shown on the display. Use UP/DOWN Adjust the recoil trigger START/STOP Pause the display for review HOLD touch screen Reset the display and after five seconds the watch will vibrate and you can begin a new string. NOTE This app may not work on pistols with low recoil. New in Version 4.0 1- Revised for better operation on a round dial 2 - Verified durations 3 - Improved Auto Recoil mode Auto Recoil Mode The Auto Recoil Mode allows you to tailor the operation to a specific pistol. 1 - Select AUTO from the RECOIL menu 2 - Fire a string of shots The first string of shots are used to calibrate the sensor. Subsequent shot strings will be referenced to the calibration string. To change the calibration, go back into the menu and reselect RECOIL and AUTO, Press OK. This will start the calibration cycle again on the next string
