Steel Eagle

Steel Eagle is a one-button arcade game. Tap the screen (or press a button) to gain altitude and squeeze your aircraft through the gap in the anti-aircraft towers. Easy to pick up, hard to put down. Along the way you collect gold coins that are saved between games. In the hangar you trade them for new aircraft, each with its own artwork: - Hang glider — free, your first ride: sail, harness and off you go. - Prop plane — 25 coins. High wing, propeller and fixed landing gear. - Fighter jet — 80 coins. Afterburner and a sharp nose. - Stealth fighter — 200 coins. Faceted body, twin tails, gold canopy. - Bomber — 500 coins. Four engines, gun turrets and bombs underneath. What you'll run into up there: - PERFECT combo — fly through the exact centre of the gap to multiply your score up to x5. Clip the edge and the streak is gone. - UFOs on erratic courses: your plane fires missiles at them automatically, but hitting one is fatal... unless you're shielded. - Zeppelin boss every 12 towers, with a health bar and volleys of cosmic rays. Bring it down for a big score bonus. - Shields: a temporary one that makes you invulnerable for a few seconds, and a golden one before each boss that absorbs a single hit. - Weather: wind gusts and sandstorms that push you around and cut your visibility. - Rising difficulty: every tower speeds things up and the gap slowly narrows. A new level every 10 towers. - Best score and coins are saved on the watch and survive app restarts. Controls — one gesture does everything: tap the screen, or press SELECT / START / UP / DOWN on button watches. Open the hangar from the title screen with the HANGAR button or the MENU key. Also: game text in 14 languages, an arcade title screen with an intro animation, and automatic scaling to any screen shape, round or square.
