PROSPECTOR - Mineral Atelier
· v2.0.0
About
Layered mineral surfaces, fine points of light and one gold seam frame a clear digital clock, outer compass scale, altitude, ambient pressure and battery. All built-in PROSPECTOR features are free. No subscription, activation code or companion account is required.
The active display uses warm ivory digits and detailed mineral textures. Always-on mode keeps the same layout with outlined digits and dimmed textures, retaining time, date, heading, altitude, pressure and battery. Time follows the system 12/24-hour setting. Options include meters/feet, three AOD brightness levels, AOD texture visibility and heading display.
Heading behavior: while active, the face attempts to read the system heading once per second. SYSTEM identifies the source; refresh depends on the device, and wrist-rotation tracking has not yet been verified on physical hardware. In AOD, HOLD marks a retained value with its read time. If the system value is unavailable, SAMPLE uses a background heading sample requested approximately every five minutes. Samples older than 15 minutes show OLD; no valid heading shows NO FIX; disabled heading shows OFF. Use the native compass or navigation app when live navigation is needed.
Altitude and pressure use recent valid device history. Missing data or samples older than 30 minutes display dashes. Pressure is ambient, not sea-level corrected. Mineral graphics are decorative and do not represent mineral detection.
Primary development and simulator validation target: epix Pro (Gen 2) 51mm, 454 x 454. Garmin also groups D2 Mach 1 Pro and tactix 7 AMOLED Edition with this export; those devices have not been independently tested on physical hardware. The settings menu is in Simplified Chinese; dial labels use short English text. Screenshots use sample values; the installed face reads device data. Actual brightness and battery life depend on the device and usage.
No user data is sent to the developer or third parties. Heading samples are stored locally on the watch.
