TDS® Checkpoint
· v2.0.0-upd6
About
A data field for use during the Sur les Traces des Ducs de Savoie (TDS®) event. Distance travelled is used to calculate several values:
- the name of the next major Checkpoint
- the distance remaining until you reach the Checkpoint
- the amount of vertical ascent remaining to get to the Checkpoint
- the time remaining until that Checkpoint's cut-off time
The aim of this data field is to help the runner to adjust their pace so that they comfortably finish the race.
The four values are automatically shown within a single data field, with the value displayed changing every five seconds.
Disclaimer: The distances, vertical ascent values, and cut-off times are all taken from the official TDS® 2016 race guide. This data field is not a replacement for the course or for the official maps.
