Solar System
· v1.2
About
This watchface uses position of circles (planets) to display various data fields. The design is not disrupted by displaying any numbers or letters. The watchface is completely free (Merry Christmas), extremely battery friendly (the screen is updated only once per minute) and highly customizable.
It is also perfect for AMOLED displays as it does not cause burn-ins (if you don't use ellipses).
Planets configuration:
• Up to 7 planets
• Size
• Spacing between planets
• Style (full, or with various outline size, ellipses)
• Colors (each planet, ellipses and background)
Sun configuration:
• Size, style, color
• Can be shown / displayed based on various conditions (step goal reached, inactive, etc.)
Available data:
• Minutes
• Hours
• Heart rate (0 –200), 0 position is always at 12' clock
• Battery
• Step goal – can display an additional smaller planet for each completion
• Floor goal – can display an additional smaller planet for each completion
• Inactivity time* (can be displayed as a trace behind the minute planet)
• Garmin move alert (can be displayed as a trace behind the minute planet)
* Inactivity time is counting number of minutes since last walk (had to be at least 35 steps within a minute). After 60 minutes, Garmin move alert should be triggered.
Some options and colors might not be supported on all devices (like floor goal). Some planet sizes / spacing might be too big if your watch has smaller resolution display.
IMPORTANT - HOW TO CONFIGURE THE WATCHFACE:
You need to use the Garmin Connect application on your smart phone - there you have customization options, where you can modify settings of all watchfaces - it is the same for every watchface with configurable settings. You have to go to menu and select: Garmin Devices / Your device / Appearance / Watch Faces / Solar System and there should be three options: Uninstall, View in store and Settings - just select Settings and there is the configuration.
If you want to uninstall the watchface, you need to select a different watchface as your active one first.
