About
Adaptive Activity Timer
A clean activity-time data field with big, glance-legible numbers that automatically shows the most detail your cell can fit.
It displays your activity timer — the same time the native "Timer" field shows, which pauses and resumes with your activity — and adapts the format to the size of the cell you place it in:
- Under one hour: M:SS (e.g. 12:34)
- One hour or more, wide cell: the full H:MM:SS (e.g. 1:23:45)
- Narrower cell: a compound format — a large H:MM with the seconds as a small raised superscript (a big 1:23 with a small :45). Hours and minutes stay big and readable, and you still see the seconds.
- Very small cell: H:MM, so the important part stays legible.
WHY THE COMPOUND FORMAT
"1:23" on its own is ambiguous: 1h 23m, or 1m 23s? A big 1:23 with a small :45 makes it unmistakably 1 hour 23 minutes 45 seconds — and keeps the part you glance at (hours and minutes) as large as possible.
DESIGNED TO FEEL NATIVE
- Uses the device's system number fonts, tuned to match the native Timer field.
- Theme-aware: adapts to your day (white) or night (black) background.
- Dims when the timer is paused or auto-paused, so a glance tells you it isn't running.
- Bilingual label: "Timer" (English) / "Tiempo" (Spanish).
LIGHTWEIGHT
- No settings to configure — just drop it on a data screen.
- No sensors, no GPS, no permissions, no internet. It only reads the activity time and draws it, so its impact on battery is negligible.
COMPATIBILITY
Works on the Edge 530, 540, 550, 830, 840, 850, 1030 / 1030 Plus / 1030 Bontrager, 1040, 1050, Explore 2 and Edge MTB.
