About
Even latest Shimano XT gear switch lever, there is no gear display, AK MTB Gear is filling this gap and is showing current gear of your MTB (or road or gravel bike). There are some preconditions:
- Cad sensor is mandatory
- Speed sensor on bike is helpful (GPS speed is too inaccurate)
- only 1/x is supported (e.g. 1/12; SRAM, Shimano or other). If you have 2/x oder 3/x, take one of the chainrings ...
- tire, chainring and cassette geometry to be entered in Garmin Connect
Keep in mind, it takes some seconds till AK MTB Gear is calculating current gear (because Edge has some lag in calculation of cad)
This is same as AK MTB Gear, for users who wants to have two different datafield running.
