Tempest - Rule the waves, rule the day

Tempest brings the golden age of sail to your wrist. A sweeping oil painting of a tall ship battling stormy seas fills the display, with a layered foreground effect that gives the scene real depth — the ship rises in front of the time, not behind it. The time and date are rendered in Kalnia, a classical serif typeface, in warm antique cream. The date displays in full — Friday 19th June — so you always know exactly where you are without squinting at abbreviations. Designed to look as good in a dark room as it does in daylight.
