Unlike the standard average pace, which is based on the complete activity you are completing, this data field will show your average over a shorter more recent distance. The Data Field supports a configurable measurement over selected distances between 100 metres to 20km or miles, and from 5 seconds to 10 minutes. A variable option is now also available for both Distance and Time. The Data Field can be configured using the settings to reset on each new lap. You can display the calculation in either: - Metric - Statute - System Settings (Default) - Opposite System Settings - Knots The options can be changed within Garmin Express on your desktop or mobile device.
