GPS to FIT

Please Note: Due to time constraints and other prioroties I no longer provide updates for my datafields. All my datafields were developed because I had a personal need for them at the time and I decided to make them vailable to everyone, but I currently do not have the time to keep up with the pace of new devices being added to Garmin's lineup. Simple data field showing GPS Signal Quality as a numeric value and writing the data to the FIT file so it can be seen in Garmin Connect. To buy me a beer click here: paypal.me/CloggyAbroad As this is a single data field it needs to be selected on one of the data screens of an existing activity profile. Garmin devices report GPS Signal Quality as a numeric value from 1 to 4. It needs to be 3 or 4 for a good fix. If the data field reports 0 (zero) this means that GPS is not available. This data field writes the reported GPS Signal Quality to the FIT file so it can be seen in Garmin Connect after the activity is uploaded to assist with analysing drop-out and coverage issues.
