About
GearMetric Pro turns your Garmin into a precision mechanical instrument. A richly detailed exposed-gear dial, luminous analog hands and a live seconds hand meet the health, activity, weather and device data you use every day.
BUILT FOR YOUR STYLE
• Five complete color themes: Heritage Gold, Arctic Blue, Racing Red, Emerald Circuit and Ultraviolet
• Premium skeleton-mechanical design with crisp, high-contrast data panels
• Automatic 12/24-hour time support
• Celsius, Fahrenheit or your watch's system temperature setting
DATA AT A GLANCE
Configure four general data fields plus a dedicated weather field. Available choices include:
• Steps
• Heart rate
• Body Battery
• Watch battery
• Calories
• Current temperature
• Daily high / low temperature
• Sunrise and sunset
• Alarm count
The dial also shows the full date and ISO week number. On compatible Garmin devices, supported complications can be opened directly from the watch face.
ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY
Choose between two purpose-built AOD layouts:
• Mechanical — minimalist analog hands with your configured data
• Large Digital — a highly readable digital clock with the same key metrics
Both always-on layouts use a pure-black, low-power design, remove the seconds hand and shift position over time to help reduce AMOLED burn-in risk. AOD availability depends on your Garmin model and system settings.
MADE FOR THE GARMIN FAMILY
GearMetric Pro includes optimized layouts for more than 100 supported Garmin models across fēnix, epix, Venu, Forerunner, vívoactive, MARQ, Approach, Descent, D2, Enduro and Instinct families. It scales from compact 240 px round screens through 454 px AMOLED displays, with a dedicated Venu X1 layout. Legacy memory-constrained models use a streamlined vector edition of the same mechanical design.
HOW TO CUSTOMIZE
On supported watches: open Watch Face → GearMetric Pro → Settings. Choose Color Theme, Temperature Units, Always-On Layout, Weather Field and the four data-field positions. Newer compatible models also expose themes and native complication choices in Garmin's on-device watch-face editor.
You can also change app settings from the Connect IQ Store app, Garmin Connect or Garmin Express. Exact menu names can vary by device and software version.
Data availability depends on the sensors, services and complication providers supported by your Garmin device. Weather values require weather data to be available on the watch.
