Taco Power

A Mexican watch face that measures your week, not your day. The three rings don't take the colour of their metric. They take the colour of the flag stripe they cross: green on the left, white in the middle, red on the right. As you make progress, the rings uncover the flag against the black of the screen. Close the week and the flag is whole. How to read the rings — by position, not by colour: Outer: steps this week Middle: kilometres this week Inner: active calories this week The week runs Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, local time. Monday at midnight it all starts over. In the centre, today, in two columns: on the left how your watch and your body are doing right now — battery, Body Battery and heart rate; on the right what you've done today — steps, distance and active calories. Each row is identified by its icon, with no labels stealing space. And at the bottom, the taco. Your active calories translated into taco equivalents: 200 kcal per taco out of the box, adjustable from 100 to 600 to match what you actually eat. It's the least boring way we know to read a calorie counter. Built for your watch's panel On AMOLED, an always-on mode with four variants to choose from, all under 10 % lit pixels and shifting every minute to protect the panel. Plus three brightness levels if you want to stretch the battery. On MIP fēnix 7 models, a dedicated palette picked from the panel's real 64 colours: the red is flag red, not the pink an automatic conversion would give you. Settings: weekly goals for steps, distance and calories; kcal per taco; 12/24-hour format; manual basal metabolic rate; and what feeds the middle ring (total daily distance, or running only, cycling only, or both). Eight languages: Spanish, English, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and Polish. Nothing you see ever leaves the watch. No network, no accounts, no analytics. The fēnix 9 range is in. Taco Power now runs on all seven new models: fēnix 9 (43, 47 and 51 mm), fēnix 9 Pro (43, 47 and 51 mm) and fēnix 9 Pro Solar (47 and 51 mm). That includes the 466 px display of the fēnix 9 Pro 51 mm, with fonts and icons sized for it, and the MIP panel of the Pro Solar models with the dedicated palette (flag red, not pink). No changes on other watches.
