Garmin disables the pressure sensor in Pool Swimming mode, so depth measurement is not possible in that profile. • To ensure maximum accuracy, change the following setting on your watch: • • Settings → Sensors & Accessories → Barometer → Sensor Mode → Select "Barometer Only" • • If you do not set this, your watch may override pressure data with GPS elevation, causing inaccurate depth readings. • DataField settings (such as alert depth or countdown) are only applied after you synchronize your watch with Garmin Connect AND restart the activity. All settings are saved directly on your watch and are automatically synchronized. Please note: Due to Garmin Connect IQ platform limitations, any changes you make to DataField settings (such as Donor ID, alert durations, depth alert, or unit selection) will only take effect after you synchronize your watch with the Garmin Connect mobile app or Garmin Express and then restart the activity (exit and re-enter the data screen). This is a platform-wide limitation for all DataFields on Garmin devices. IMPORTANT: Due to Garmin platform limitations, the API level has been increased to 5.0.0, which excludes some older devices. If you do not see the update or cannot install the app, your device is no longer supported by this version.
