Morning Report – Daily Readiness Score
· vV2.1
About
Your morning readiness score from Body Battery, sleep, stress and training
load. 4 screens: score overview, 4 metric rings, weather with training hint,
zone-matched activity recommendation. For Garmin watches without native
Morning Report. 12 languages.
Does your Garmin watch lack the native Morning Report or Training Readiness
feature? This widget fills exactly that gap with a personalised readiness
score every morning.
READINESS SCORE (0-100)
The score combines four independent signals from your watch:
Body Battery -- your current recovery level, the strongest real-time
indicator of how well your body has recovered.
Sleep -- overnight body battery recovery used as a sleep quality and
duration proxy, evaluated independently from current Body Battery.
Stress -- your average stress level over the last 24 hours.
Training load -- active minutes over the last 7 days, exponentially
weighted so that recent sessions count more than older ones.
Four score zones:
Peak Form (85-100) -- Race day or maximum effort. Your body is at its best.
Ready (65-84) -- Great recovery. Hard workout recommended.
Moderate (40-64) -- Moderate recovery. Zone 2 or easy training.
Recover (0-39) -- Rest day. Focus on recovery and sleep.
4 SCREENS -- swipe to navigate
Screen 1: Welcome
Your readiness score, zone label and peripheral score arc. Date at the bottom.
Screen 2: Readiness
Four circular progress rings with icons: Energy (Body Battery), Sleep,
Recovery (stress-based) and Form (7-day training load). Score and zone
label at the top.
Screen 3: Weather
Current temperature, condition, wind and humidity. A colour-coded training
hint tells you at a glance whether conditions are ideal, manageable or
better suited for indoors.
Screen 4: Recommendation
Zone-matched activity suggestion with two lines of motivational text and
a page indicator. The recommendation and icon change with your score zone.
No setup or account required. Add the widget and open it each morning.
Available in 12 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian,
Danish, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Norwegian, Polish, Swedish.
Supports 43 devices including Forerunner, Fenix, Venu and vivoactive series.
What's new
V2.1
· Sleep quality on the readiness page is now reliable across every supported watch — it reads your overnight Body Battery recovery instead of the sleep-duration field that was missing or inaccurate on many devices, and translates it into "Excellent / Good / OK / Poor".
· Temperature and wind now follow your watch's unit settings — °F and mph for US/UK, °C and km/h otherwise.
· Fixed a glance crash on Forerunner 245 and similar devices.
· Improved layout on small displays (fr55 208 px): activity circle sized to fit, no more clipped text on the recommendation page.
· Glance now stacks app name and status vertically when the single-line layout would not fit.
· Consistent font size across all four signal cards on the readiness page.
Thanks to everyone who sent feedback — this update is your work.
