Dygn - 24-Hour Solar Dial
· v1.3.1
About
A full day on one ring: sunrise, sunset, and how much daylight is left - at a glance.
Dygn shows your whole day on a single 24-hour ring instead of the usual 12-hour clock. Midday sits at the top, midnight at the bottom, and time runs clockwise — so daylight fills the top half of the dial and night fills the bottom.
The daytime arc is split at the sun's current position. The part of the day you've already spent fills in solid; the daylight still ahead of you is a soft tail that fades toward dusk. Sunrise and sunset are marked with their own glyphs, a moving dot tracks "now," and a small percentage tells you how much daylight is elapsed. One look tells you where you are in the day and how much light is left.
Sunrise and sunset are calculated for your exact location, and the dial handles the extremes: no night band during the midnight sun, a full dark ring during polar night.
The center stays quiet and readable: 24-hour time, the date, and a single row of stats — heart rate, steps, and battery.
FEATURES

• Live sunrise/sunset for your location, with polar day/night handling
• Two-tone daylight arc: elapsed fill plus a fading tail to sunset
• Daylight percentage (choose: elapsed, remaining, or full-day elapsed)
• Clean center: 24h time, date, and heart rate · steps · battery
• Always-on display friendly — a minimal low-power layout
• Customizable sun and ring colors from an 11-color palette
• English or Swedish day/month labels
SETTINGS
• Sun color — sunrise/sunset glyphs, the sun marker, and the tail
• Day ring color — the elapsed-daylight fill and the percentage
• Top percentage shows — daylight elapsed, daylight remaining, or full 24h elapsed
• Labels — English or Swedish
"Dygn" is Swedish for a full day-and-night cycle: one 24-hour period, which is exactly what the ring draws.
Note: Dygn uses your position to calculate sunrise and sunset. If no fix is available it falls back to your last known location so the face never blanks.
