· vV7.2.0
About
*SEE THE NOTES BELOW BEFORE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE APP*

Imagine you are on the go and want to upload a course to your Garmin device to follow the track. As of now, this involves uploading the gpx file to the Garmin web site, somehow create a course from it and then select "Export to device" in the mobile app.
Here comes gimporter. Simply download your FIT and GPX files with "gimporter" from the "Download" folder of your Android device. GPX will be automatically converted to a FIT course.
1. Start the Android companion app on your Android device. See the exported folder and files displayed.
2. Keep the App open.
3. Start gimporter on your Garmin device. On some devices you have to disable WiFi on the Garmin device to get a connection to the phone app.
4. Select a file to import
5. Optionally start activity
Notes:
* Since 2019 the Garmin Connect App just refuses the connection from gimporter to gexporter, if the phone has no internet access (although none is needed).
Please bug Garmin with reports about: "`makeWebRequest` not working to `localhost`, if the phone has no internet access."
* Keep the Android App open and on top
* On some devices you have to disable WiFi on the Garmin device to get a connection to the phone app.
* Oregon and Rino devices download the unmodified GPX track. No point reduction or speed recalculation is done yet
