Pixel Chopper: Jungle Escape

PixelChopper is a pixel-art, side-scrolling survival flying game. Pilot a helicopter through an ever-changing forest passage, avoiding the upper and lower boundaries and red enemy aircraft flying toward you. Fly as far as you can and aim for a higher score. The helicopter flies forward automatically; you only need to control its altitude. Tap the screen or press START, the confirm button, or UP for a short burst of lift. When you stop tapping, the helicopter gradually descends. The current controls use a tap-to-rise mechanic: holding a button or the screen does not make you keep climbing. Maintain your altitude with a steady tapping rhythm. The passage starts out straight and level, then randomly introduces flat stretches, gentle slopes, and larger rises and dips. As you fly farther, your speed gradually increases and the passage gradually narrows until their limits are reached. After you have flown a certain distance, red enemy aircraft begin approaching from the right. Fly above or below them to get past. Hitting the terrain, the top or bottom edge of the screen, or an enemy aircraft ends the run immediately. The game offers Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties. Easy mode has a slower speed, gentler terrain, and enemies that appear later. Hard mode is faster, with more uneven terrain, a passage that narrows more quickly, and enemies that appear earlier. Your score is based on distance flown, with multipliers of 0.7, 1, and 1.3 for Easy, Normal, and Hard respectively. All three difficulties share a single high score stored locally. From the main menu, you can start a game, change the difficulty, and turn collision vibration on or off. During a game, press Back to pause. While paused, press GPS, START, the confirm button, or UP to resume, or press Back again to return to the main menu. After a collision, your score for the run is displayed, with a notification if you set a new record. The game automatically returns to the main menu after about 1.5 seconds. Your high score and settings are saved automatically. Try to stay near the middle of the passage, watch the terrain ahead on the right, and adjust your altitude with short taps. When an enemy appears, pass it on the side with more space, leaving a safe margin from the upper and lower boundaries. This game is free forever.
