Multi Location Weather Forecast

Get the weather forecast for your favourite dive sites and other locations on your watch! Currently only a limited number of watch models are supported, contact me with the details of your watch if you'd like me to look into adding support for it. Data displayed: - maximum wind speed and direction during daytime - maximum temperature during daytime - weather symbols for morning and afternoon - location name (user definable) Features: - up to 8 locations supported - shows the forecast for today and up the next 5 days (4 on Descent G1/G1 Solar) - downloads a forecast for up to 10 days and stores it on the watch - if no internet connection is possible it shows the previously downloaded forecast while trying to download updated data in the background - based on data from MET Norway, operators of the popular Yr weather forecast service (https://www.yr.no/) Configuration: For every location to show, add a name and the coordinates for the site. Use https://www.yr.no/ to search a list of popular locations, then click on the location name to show the coordinates. If no name is entered the coordinates of the location will be displayed in place of the name. Sometimes there is a problem with the installation of the widget. This results in locations that have been added not showing up when the Settings are opened again, and not showing up on the watch. In this case please uninstall the widget, re-install it from Garmin IQ, and then add your locations again. Usage: Use the Start-Stop button to cycle through the list of locations. If a 'no connection' icon is shown at the top of the location name no internet connection was possible and previously downloaded data is shown. If this happens the widget attempts to download fresh data in the background, and updates the forecast when new data is received. Troubleshooting: If you encounter problems, in particular with the widget losing the configured locations, this can be caused by not enough storage space being available on the watch. Remove some unused apps and try again. This widget is open source and is released under the GPL-3.0 license.
