About

The Beep test, is also known as the bleep test, 20-meter shuttle run test or the multi stage fitness test, and is a common fitness test used to measure the aerobic fitness of an athlete. If you like the app please support the developer by donating here: http://goo.gl/YSGD84 For setup, you will need to mark out a 20-meter strip on a flat non slip surface, with cones or some other means, that will be the course that you have to run. The test involves continuous running between two lines 20m apart in time to recorded beeps. When you start the test, you will hear the first beep. You will need to run the length of the 20-meter strip before the next beep occurs. Once at the other end, you should wait for the beep before starting to run back (the next lap). The beeps will start off slowly, and approximately every minute there will be a different beep which signals the start of a new level, and the speed will increase slightly. If you fail to reach the line before the beep occurs, you should continue the lap and then turn and try to catch up with the pace before the next beep occurs. You should stop the test if you fail to reach the line for 2 consecutive beeps. Your score is the level and the number of laps that you were able to complete before you could not keep up with the beeps. Beep test times are based off the table here: http://www.topendsports.com/testing/beep-table.htm To enable vibration at the end of each level and lap (on supported devices), you can find the application setting by: - Open the garmin connect app on your phone - Go to devices - Find and Select your device - Select Applications - Find Beep Test App - Enable / disable vibration by toggling the setting.
