About

Fringe is a watch face that uses a unique ornamental border to show additional information. The perimeter of the watch exhibits dynamic quadrants to keep the user informed. Some features are only visible when the watch is not in low power mode. These features are noted below. If you enjoy this watchface, buy me a drink: https://tinyurl.com/FringeAppreciation [ FEATURES ] - Time: 12/24 hour mode, hour and minute. When not in low power mode, the ":" will blink. - Date: day of week, month, day. - Bluetooth phone connectivity indicator. - Battery Level: shows percent battery remaining, changes colors as the battery drains. - Move Bar: a segmented bar grows over time (a longer bar means more time elapsed since you last walked around). - Calories and Distance: daily calories burned and distance traveled. Only shown when the Move Bar has a zero value (yet another incentive to keep you moving). - Sleep Mode: the Move Bar is replaced by a Sleep Mode indicator when activated. A timer shows the duration of Sleep Mode. A bar grows longer as you sleep and will turn green when your sleep period is met. Sleep period is defined by Sleep Time and Wake Time in your Garmin Connect user profile. - Steps: shows Step Count. When not in Low Power mode, the display will toggle between Steps Percent Towards Goal and the Total Step Count. - Steps History: shows a 7-day sliding window view of your Steps Goal history. The metric value shows a cumulative percentage of your Steps Goal attained over the 7-day period. [ CONFIGURABLE OPTIONS ] The options listed below are configurable by the user on the Garmin Connect Mobile app, or Garmin Express. - Color Theme: supports Dark and Light background color - Hide Move Bar: disables the Move Bar from being shown after inactive periods [ IMPORTANT NOTES ] - Please see the pictures below which help explain how this watch face works. - Update your device to the latest firmware. - When a device enters/exits Low Power mode and that duration is controlled by Garmin. If you have trouble exiting Low Power mode, try flicking your wrist more aggressively. - Certain features of this watch face depend on values in your Garmin Connect Profile (http://connect.garmin.com). For the best experience, check that you have set the following values: Sleep Time, Wake Time, Steps Goal (which can be auto calculated for you by Garmin). - Ensure Move Alert is enabled in the Activity Tracking settings menu. - 12/24 hour mode is dictated by your device's Time settings menu. - All Fringe bars draw between 0-100% within a single quadrant of the watch face. For Example: Steps Percent Complete will draw a bar growing from 0% to 100%. After 100%, the Steps bar turns green, but will not draw into the next quadrant. However, you will continue to see the step metric values increase if you keep moving. [ SUPPORT ] Please leave a review to let me know what you like (or don't like).
