Connect your Garmin Edge (supported models only) directly to your Cycliq Fly12 Sport and Fly6 Pro for seamless mid-ride control and real-time status monitoring. Once configured through the datafield settings, this data field automatically connects to your selected Cycliq devices over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) whenever your Garmin Edge starts up, or when you start recording an activity. See Auto-Startup Configuration below. --- To begin, add the datafield to its own page in your activity view. With your Fly device on, enter the pairing screens by opening the Connect IQ Data Fields settings, then opening the CycliqPlus Edge settings. This allows you to select your devices. Tap to search for devices then tap to add a device. --- Auto-Startup Configuration For your Garmin Edge to power on your Cycliq devices automatically, the camera must advertise over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) even while it is switched off ("BLE Always Visible"). On the latest Fly firmware, CycliqPlus Edge sets this up for you: when you pair or connect a camera it prompts you to turn on BLE Always Visible right from your Garmin—no cable or phone required—for both the Fly12 Sport and the Fly6 Pro. You can change it any time from the device's menu in the data field settings. If a camera doesn't show the on-device prompt yet, update its camera firmware and try again, or set BLE visibility using the Cycliq apps: Set BLE Always Visible using CycliqPlus Mobile App (Fly6 Pro) 1. Pair your Fly6 Pro with the mobile app. 2. Open Settings → System Configuration. 3. Set Bluetooth Visibility to “Always Visible”. Set BLE Always Visible using CycliqPlus Desktop (Fly12 Sport, older firmware) 1. Connect your Fly12 Sport to your computer via USB. 2. Open the CycliqPlus Desktop App (version 4.0.0 or later). 3. Select your device, then go to System Configuration. 4. Set Bluetooth Visibility to “Always Visible”.
