About

Overview Torque Data Field is a application that displays pedaling torque in real-time on garmin device. The app calculates torque from power meter data and cadence, providing multiple display options including absolute and relative values. ------------------------- Features Real-time torque calculation from power and cadence data Multiple display units: Newton-meters (Nm), Kilogram-force (Kgf), and relative values per body weight Configurable data smoothing for stable readings All metrics recorded to FIT file for post-ride analysis Supports common crank lengths from 160mm to 180mm ------------------------- Display Modes Newton-meter (Nm) - Standard torque measurement Kilogram-force (Kgf) - Alternative force measurement Both (Nm/Kg) - Shows both values simultaneously Nm per kg bodyweight - Torque efficiency relative to rider weight Kgf per kg bodyweight - Force efficiency relative to rider weight All relative - Shows both relative measurements ------------------------ Settings: Crank Length Select your crank arm length from common sizes: 160mm, 165mm, 167.5mm, 170mm, 172.5mm, 175mm, 177.5mm, or 180mm. Default is 172.5mm. This setting is required for accurate Kgf calculations. Body Weight Enter your body weight in kilograms. This setting is required when using relative display modes (Nm/kg or Kgf/kg). Display Units Choose which torque measurement to display on your device during rides. Options range from single metrics to combined displays. Smoothing Select the averaging period for torque data: Instant (no smoothing), 3 seconds, 5 seconds, or 10 seconds.
