Unfortunately, without additional hardware no step length is available as a Datafield. I have programmed a Datafield which calculates the step length based on the step frequency and the speed. Furthermore, the field description "Step Length" is displayed in color, depending on the current step length and step frequency in relation to the pace given in the settings.By setting you can also activate the recording, which makes the step length available in Garmin Connect. I made the Datafield for me. Everybody can use the Datafield for free and customize it with the possible settings to his needs. Good ideas, improvements and discovered mistakes are welcome with a detailed description.
