eGauge - real time energy monitoring

Display real time data from eGauge energy monitoring devices. Any of the registers on the eGauge meter can be displayed (press and hold the menu button to bring up a list of available registers). After selecting a set of registers you can swipe up/down (button press up/down on older watches) to show the data for a specific register. The meter display shows the real time value of the register in the center of the display, the name of the register at the bottom of the display, and a dial showing the percentage of maximum value for the register. If the register is showing a positive value then the dial is in green with the 100% mark at the right. If the register is showing a negative value then the dial is in red with the 100% mark on the left. The period (in seconds) between meter readings is configurable from the app settings. There is a progress arc that shows just below the register name. If enabled this arc narrows down to nothing when the meter reading period expires, at which point the app gets new register values. The eGauge meter URL and user name and password must be configured through the Connect IQ configuration page for the app but, after that, registers are selected on the watch iteself. The meter URL can be speicifed in 3 different ways: - Just the device, e.g. foo. The app will automatically use HTTPS to access the meter foo through the (configurable) eGauge proxy server. - Fully qualified URL, e.g. http://foo.domain.com. The app will access the meter foo using the exact URL specified. - URL only, e.g. foo.domain.com. The app will automatically use HTTPS to access the meter using the URL https://foo.domain.com. The app also supports a glance view. The glance shows the last register that the app was monitoring and the current value for that register. The current value is obtained from a back ground task that runs every 10 minutes (this update frequency can be changed in the app settings). Note that setting the update frequency to 0 will disable the background task, the glance view will only show the last value that the app obtained so it will probably be really stale. Note - this app is completely independent from the eGauge company, don't ask them for help, they know nothing about this app.
