About
PhipsTactix – tactical watch face with high information density
PhipsTactix combines a clean tactical design with extensive configurable data fields. It is designed to provide important everyday, health, training, weather and system information directly on your wrist while remaining structured and readable.
Multiple small and wide data fields can be configured individually. Depending on the Garmin device, available information includes:
• Battery, remaining battery time and solar
• Heart rate and resting heart rate
• Body Battery and stress
• READY – custom readiness score
• Steps, distance, calories and floors
• Intensity minutes and goals
• Elevation and barometric pressure
• SpO₂ and health information
• Recovery and Training Status
• VO₂ max and race pace data on supported devices
• Sunrise and sunset
• Date, week number and day of year
• Notifications and connection status
• UTC/Zulu and selectable second time zone
• extensive weather information
READY SCORE
PhipsTactix includes its own compact 0–100 readiness score. It combines available Body Battery, stress, recovery and resting heart rate information to provide a simple estimate of current recovery and training readiness.
READY is not Garmin's official Training Readiness value. It is a custom PhipsTactix calculation. If individual data sources are unavailable, the available values are automatically reweighted.
WEATHER
Garmin Weather is supported directly. Optional OpenWeather integration is available on supported modern devices. Depending on the selected source, available information may include current temperature, feels-like temperature, high/low, humidity, pressure, wind, gusts, precipitation probability, weather trends and additional forecast information.
TIME & TIME ZONES
In addition to local time, PhipsTactix supports UTC/Zulu and a selectable second time zone. It can be displayed separately or together with local time.

BATTERY OPTIMIZATION
PhipsTactix uses tiered refresh intervals. Lightweight information is updated regularly while more demanding sensor history, training, complication and weather data is refreshed less frequently. This keeps information useful while reducing unnecessary processing and battery usage.
PhipsTactix supports numerous modern Garmin watches and includes a dedicated optimized legacy implementation for the fēnix 6 series. Some features may be unavailable depending on the individual device and Connect IQ version.
