Biathlon Coach connects your Garmin watch to the Biathlon Coach web app (www.biathloncoach.no) used by biathlon clubs to log and analyse shooting sessions. Start the app on your watch, and your heart rate and position stream to your coach in near real time (3-5 seconds) — during warm-up, zeroing and competition. Your coach sees your pulse as you enter the shooting range, and every shot is automatically tagged with your heart rate for later analysis: hit rate under load, settling before the first shot, and more. FEATURES - Shot results on your watch — the moment a series is plotted by your coach, the hit pattern shows on your wrist for 10 seconds.. - Live heart rate and GPS streaming to Biathlon Coach (via Garmin Connect Mobile on your phone) - Records your full session as a normal activity (saved to Garmin Connect) - Three sport profiles: Skate Snow, Roller Ski, Run - Zero interaction during the session — start it and forget it - Automatic resume from pause when you start moving - Robust offline buffering: up to 4 hours of data is kept and re-sent automatically when your phone reconnects PAIRING The watch shows a 6-character code on screen 2. Smarter streaming that saves your phone battery (v.1.0.2): • Lower phone battery use — the app now sends less often when nobody is watching the live view, and returns to full speed the moment your coach (or someone else) opens it • Instant catch-up — buffered data is sent immediately when your watch reconnects to your phone (e.g. arriving at the shooting range) • Fresher live heart rate — your current pulse now comes through first while older data backfills in the background Shows your shooting result on the watch — a simple hit/miss target for a few seconds after each series, then back to your pulse.
