Watchface Data Communication Demo

THIS APP IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED. Use the Contact Developer link to contact me for more information. This watchface demonstrates sending and receiving data between apps. This app is to be used with the Widget Data Send Demo app: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/b18b627a-9366-476c-8aad-824ac796043e Instructions for use: 1. Open the settings for the Widget Data Send Demo app and copy the User Id setting value. Set the "App to send data to" setting to "Watchface Data Communication Demo" and save 2. Open the settings for this app (Watchface Data Communication Demo) and paste the User Id from step 1 into the User Id setting and save. 3. Activate the Widget Data Send Demo app to send a few messages. 4. Activate this watchface and see the messages received (only one every 5 minutes, due to Garmin API restrictions) Note that the Garmin Connect app must be running on your smartphone, and bluetooth communication enabled for communication between apps to function. # Tags Data communication, data sharing between apps
