About

This app aids in relaxation or meditation to calm your mind, especially to wind down in preparation for sleep. # Features * Displays HR, respiration rate and stress (respiration rate and stress may not be available depending on your Garmin model) * Configurable text color (set to dark red to cut blue light prior to sleep) * HR feedback mode provides vibration feedback at 15 second intervals indicating your change in HR since the last interval. Vibration is used so you don’t have to look at the screen and can close your eyes. One short vibration indicates no HR change 2 short vibrations indicates HR has increased One long (2 second) vibration indicates HR has decreased * A + or - appearing after the HR value also indicates if your heart rate has increased or decreased since the last interval. * Option to enable/disable vibration feedback * Configurable maximum session length (will vibrate at the end and exit the app) # Usage instructions Go to a room without distractions. Sit comfortably or lie down. After starting the app, concentrate on long, slow breaths in order to calm your mind and reduce your heart rate. Use the vibration feedback to guide you. Avoid thinking about anything else or allowing your mind to wander. # PRO Version Features * Saves HR, respiration rate, stress to the activity session record in Garmin Connect for later review. * Customizable activity name for saving to Garmin Connect * Option to automatically exit the app after your heart rate has reached a configurable target heart rate. This should usually be set to a few beats above your resting heart rate. This is useful when you use the app to help you fall asleep, and you actually do fall asleep. * Customizable feedback interval (10 - 120 seconds) * Respiration guidance feedback mode. Instead of providing feedback on change in HR, this mode uses vibration to guide you when you should breathe in (or out). Try to synchronize your breathing to the vibration signals. Set the "Target Respiration rate" setting to the rate that you want to reach. Set the "Respiration rate adjustment" setting to control how quicky the app will coax you towards the target respiration rate. For example, if you set the respiration rate adjustment to -0.5, and your current respiration rate is 15 breaths per minute, it will give vibration pulses every 60/14.5=4.14 seconds. Try to synchronize you breaths in (or out) to the vibration pulses. If your Garmin model does not support vibration, then you can look at the screen for the "Breathe in" message. * The target HR and target respiration rate can be changed from the on-watch app menu. # Hints and Related Apps You may find using this app in conjunction with the Bryan Johnson Dashboard watchface beneficial (especially the HR before sleep recording feature). Also, listening to theta waves or Om (Oum) chanting music during the activity can further help in relaxation. You can download a music track with this onto your watch and play it directly from the watch to your headphones to avoid having a distracting phone in the room. # Payment For the PRO version, use this link to pay US$1.99 via Stripe (no account required; credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay accepted). https://buy.stripe.com/3cIfZi3fi7Si6sTbmSf3d08 Alternative payment via Paypal: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/trudelta/1.99USD Important instructions to get your unlock code quickly: https://ko-fi.com/post/Payments-via-PayPal-Z8Z6AIK78 Payment via Stripe is recommended because you will get your unlock code immediately on the payment confirmation screen.
