POWER+

This data field combines different information about POWER. It displays: - Current power averaged to 1, 3, 10, 30 s - Average power - Normalized power (NP) or maximum power In addition, current POWER zone is shown at right top corner. An horizontal bar chart represents % of time spent in each POWER zone during the activity. Last 60 seconds history of POWER and average, normalized NP and maximum levels are also plotted on same chart. Layout varies according to data field size. Tap once on the data field to alternate between Power in watts or %FTP. As Garmin does not allow access to user power zones info from IQ apps and data fields, they must be configured using Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express. By default, FTP is set as 1000w As it is difficult to represent a seven zones chart within the reduced space of the data field it is recommended to restrict the power range to be shown in the chart assigning adequate values to Z1 minimum and Z7 maximum values. Configuration via Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express allows to set: - Power values displayed as watts or %FTP - font used to display POWER value (classic monochrome font or colored font that matches POWER zone color) - whether AVG, NP and MAX will refer to current lap or complete activity values - averaging time for current Power (1, 3, 10, 30 s) - user FTP and POWER zones - minimum POWER value for chart If you like this data field, try my other ones (VELO+, HEART+, POWER+, eGEAR+).
