Power Bar
· v2.2
About
Displays a graphical gauge showing current (3s average) power against your power zones. The current power zone is highlighted. A separate gauge registers the maximum power registered during the activity.
The data field supports the following settings through Garmin Express or the Garmin Mobile App:
* Suppress display of the field label (useful for smaller screens when multiple fields are displayed)
* Suppress display of the Max Power indicator
* The minimum value of the power scale display (adjusted to the nearest 50 watts)
* The maximum value of the power scale display (adjusted to the nearest 50 watts)
* The averaging period for the displayed power value (1s/3s/10s/30s)
* The Functional Threshold Power (FTP) for the user
* Percentages of FTP for the user's power zones (z1-z7)
This field can be combined with other data fields on multi-field training pages. Note that to make the display more readable on a smaller screen, the field does not display the numerical readout of the current power. To get the numerical readout, place the field with another separate Power field(s) on a multi field screen.
Also note that you need to set your FTP and zones in the settings for the app as the app can not access the FTP/zone data that you may have set on your device. This is currently a limitation in the Garmin Connect IQ framework.
An ANT+ power meter must be paired with the device to provide the power data.
